I've redone this lineup I don't know how many times, but I finally got it to look how I [more or less] want it to.

Now, on to business....
These are adoptables, but they aren't the average kind that you just pay a certain amount or draw or just take and they're yours.
No, these little kids are special in the way that they're developed characters (well, their personalities are, as well as some of their other information). They are also only allowed to be adopted if the adoptee agrees to use the character, and let me also keep hold of some rights to the character. Another difference is that you'll need one of your pre-existing characters (or even one you've made especially for this--not recommended, but feel free to do so) to adopt one of the kids. You may choose more than one character (a pair such as two spouses, siblings, etc.) to adopt a child, or just stick to one (single parents are just as good as pairs).
You see, these kids are a little monstrous, but they're also orphans and need good homes. I want to make sure that such development and time put into these guys wasn't wasted on someone who's just going to stash them away and only use them once or twice, then stop. So you'll need to follow a few things to make me trust that you can take proper care of them--or I have the right to take them away.
How to Adopt
1. Comment that you're interested on taking such a responsibility, the child's name, and the character that will be "adopting" him or her.
2. You can either pay five dollars (5$/USD) for the child and draw one image of your character(s) and him/her; or you can draw three images of the child: one of your character(s) meeting him/her, then one of your character(s) on his/her first day/week/whatever spent with the child, and finally, one with the child adjusted to being in a home with your character(s). Both options require a short biography on the child's history and anything else that would be relevant to him/her.
*Full-colored pieces are expected (they don't have to be extravagant, but they should have a background and the characters shown. You'll have a two-week hold period for the child for the second option, but keep in mind that any money offers made will [likely] be considered over a free option.
3. Wait until you are given an approval (up to half a week waiting period), then see if you've gotten the child or not.
Rules
- The character(s) chosen to adopt a child must be human or humanoid in form. He/she/it/they need(s) to be able to take care of said child and will be "background checked", so make sure that s/he/it/they has/have at least a little back story for him/her/them. For pairs of characters, it is allowed for more than one user to share a child, as some pairs can have one character belonging to one user, the other to the other user (though that could get a bit complicated). If that option is chosen, just make sure equal work is put between the two for the child's adoption and usage.
- Payment can only be given via Paypal.
- Art must be 100% done by the artist(s) wishing to adopt. No linearts or premades.
- Children must be kept close enough to their current selves, but history and other factors are up to the adoptee (must make biography a few paragraphs long).
- It would be best for those adopting to actually know how to draw children and humanoids before trying to adopt.
- Accounts and character usage will also be checked. (Hey, adopting a kid is hard work, so be sure you're ready.)
- If the child isn't drawn as often as once every few months (4-6), then there will be an "investigation" and he or she may be taken back unless there is good reason for no usage of the character. For those that paid for the child, half of the cost will be refunded if the child is taken. This "inspection" period will go on for a year or so after adopting the child.
- If, after a month or so from adopting the child, you no longer want him/her or cannot use him/her any longer, inform me and you will be refunded for up to half of the paid price, being that you at least seemed to have tried to use him/her. If you feel that you can no longer take proper care of the child after a few months, there will not be a refund, but inform me of the circumstance and return the child to me to be adopted out to a different owner.
- I will be drawing your character(s) with the adopted child after a while, as s/he will still be partially mine, and it'll be a little repayment for taking all the extra work you took to get him/her.
- The child doesn't have to be placed with parents that are of the same species; feel free to mix-and-match; the kids aren't picky. Just be mindful of their personalities and disorders (do some research if you need to) and pair them with character(s) that would do well with the child.
- The character(s) you choose to adopt the child don't have to have the child present as a canon in his/her/its/their own story, but if the child does get adopted by him/her/it/them, the character/s should be added in the child's history as canon.
-Since the child will also be partially my character, you may not resell it or adopt it back out to others. Return it to me if you get tired of it or aren't able to take care of him/her.
The Kids
Some short descriptions/traits from what I have developed on each child.
-Therem(5): lycan/werewolf, red color blind, loves hugs, homosexual, optimistic, acrophobia, loves wearing oversized shirts
-Lucilia(5): vampire, high pain threshold, gets nauseous easily, enjoys scaring others, hates sunlight, sassy, bisexual, likes Therem obsessively
-Varnish(6): goblin, has no eyebrows, loves gymnastics and ponies, favorite food is lettuce, loves shiny things, has a sleeping disorder, has kleptomania, pansexual
-Micali(7): zombie, has a phobia of bugs, likes worms, shy, loves to swim, enjoys playing in mud and dirt, afraid of the dark, claustrophobic, stutters [from having half a tongue], heterosexual, sleepwalks
-Kimber(6): ghost, likes to play with balls, clown phobic, violent when the lights are out, loves the light and night lights, asexual
Some traits may be added or taken away, so long as the character stays close to his/her original self.
Have at them.

PS: be sure to ask questions if you have them.
PPS: I will also be adopting these out on different sites; just lettin' ya know.

I really love the concept thought and detail you put into these adopts. It would definitely ensure that the candidate would use the character I think. Because why would you put so much work into something you're not gonna use often. That being said, I really love Therem. TwT; He's adorable. Sadly, my brain isn't working well enough to come up with some decent background information as I just woke up. I'll mull some ideas over, talk with my mate about 2 of our characters becoming new parentals, and possibly take a crack at this. I don't have a lot up on FA, I'm pretty new to this stuff. But I shall try my hardest! Good luck getting them to safe, good homes.
Oh, yes, I definitely agree there.
And that's completely fine. There's about a week before I'm going to consider adopters anyways :> Good luck.
Thanks; and if you would rather try adopting them on dA (if you have more on there [if at all] and it would be easier for you, that is), I'm also holding it over there, too.
