Between the time the original Star Trek TV show was cancelled and the making of the first movie, there were certain fanfics the creator really liked, and had published. One of them had a story where the human-"Vulcan" hybrid character Spock was temporarily turned into two people: a full-human Spock and a full-Vulcan Spock. The thought of a bunny Phi and a raccoony Phi reminded me of that old thing.

that's an awesome thought <3 kind of yeah. I need to do racoon phi someday (considering she was originally just racoon)
