Maybe we could do a bit more for him. What if there was some way to petition Kage about maybe not making Fernando the guest of honor or maybe that would be worthwhile. The con always puts up someone that has been an inspiration to the furries, usually an artist or whatever. This guy kept his doors open for us and took a brick for it. He may not be a furry, but by god, he's a part of the community for sure. Does anyone know someone on the food network or travel channel? Or is there a way we can get Adam Richmond of Man vs Food to visit the place and give them some much needed publicity?
and also, the year after the brick incident happened. Myself and a group of friends went in there for lunch. Some guy walks up asking us for change...we didn't see him grab the backpack off one of the chairs. It was so quick. I don't know if it was Fernando or not, but someone in the restaurant saw it, and ran after the guy and got the bag back.
