okay, i actually know from experience that wing binding especially binding like -THAT- seriously and without a doubt -hurts- if you want to bind someone's wings its better to strap them -against- the body, unless you are looking for them to be in very excruciating pain... If i have to have my wings bound like that... I will definatly -not- be signing the contract, i am sorry
I draw anime style wings, meaning they have three joints. One at the shoulder one that lets the wing bend up wards and one at the point where the wings unfurl. Think like shoulder, elbow, wrist. The wings are bound between the 'elbow' and 'wrist' so they are held together and closed like they would normally when folded. I can't draw wings to save my life
okay, the way you describe it says first that the outsides of the wings are together (tieing elbow to wrist isn't really efective unless you either ruffle alot of feathers, or make the bonds a sinch to slip out of) then sounds like they are bound inside to inside... Which from the position means a good flap and they are free. anime wings or not, The -best- way to bind them is actually tieing them to the back (ties come around the fromt of the chest) And anime wings are pretty close to real wings anyways.
