oh question, was their ever any mention of what the inspiration for her character design was? Because after watching John Carter I found out they said the red martians were mostly naked for reasons of Mars' climate and stuff...

yeah Dejah trois is the inspiration for the amrtian queen. that john carter movie disney did pissed on the pulp.

I'm noticing a slight variation in your usual style of drawing, I can't really describe it, but it could be the differently colored outlines. The staff looks cool but the background, well yeah I suppose it wasn't the main focus but you could've drawn a solid ground if nothing else.

But another thing I just noticed is that while her body doesn't have actual shading but the outlines makes it look like there is light shining behind her. I also spot some minor changes in her usual color scheme but they all work in the favor of this images purple, black, gold, white and a hint of green palette.

All and all I'd say the person who commisioned this got their moneys worth.

By far one of the absolute sexiest cartoon characters I've ever seen. And seeing Andy Katt himself taking a shot at her is a very welcome treat.

My favorite ones is her facial design.
