....Aaaand another commish. I thought I was doing Ok, got next month's rent stashed away and everything. But when I just checked my bank account, it turns out I'm broke. WTF?? It's my food habit, I bet. Every damn week I buy something to eat. In fact, if you can't pay cash for a commish, I guess I'd do barter for canned food.

Well I could pay for mine now, or at least a down payment?
You might try checking local delis just before they close. A lot of the time they'll have food marked down so they don't have to toss it. Anymore, and it's no joke, it's cheaper to buy it already done. It costs less to walk into my deli and buy an 8 piece combo than it is to make it yourself.

Nice clean tastefull pic... not exactly my bag but its still very good.
If you are running low on funds due to food consumption, perhaps I can get some advice from my friends. They have mastered the art of feeding themselves with for a week on a budget of about 5 bucks a week, if that. My advice would be a great attempt to grain a taste for Raman noodles.

If you are asking for food, it might help to tell us what kind. Can goods can ship well, but their weight suffers high postage. Pasta and rice boxes travel well and go easy on postage. Hard candies, fruits and nuts, vitamin pills, drink mixes... Animal flesh, save jerky, is best omitted.
As a famous artist, would offering an extra-pervy commission opening (for a premium fee) work? Have we seen prepaid commissions open for auction on Furbid?

Rice would be good, both for nutritional value and postage. I'm also into fruits and nuts, yes. Check my editorial on my main page - I agree that meat is best avoided in deals such as these.
Yep, I take commissions (write to Kjartana[at]comcast.net with what you got in mind). No, I haven't been on Furbid yet. What's a "prepaid commission open for auction"?

I -think- I've seen commission slots offered for auction. You define the rules of what you are willing or able to draw, and fans interested in a custom commission bid against each other for the right to request their custom auction performed. Like contacting you directly for a commission, but with the benefit of an auction's competition to drive a higher fee than you might typically request. It gives your fans a chance to pay a favored artist, in exchange for (possibly) perverted custom art.
No matter the situation, Laura is always lovely!!
And it's good to see her beauty displayed in such a formal setting, it gives her a chance to show her sophisticated side more than just her sexy side--which she still desplays with that fine dress.
Would love to have a spot reserved on her dance card!
