I didn't use a v-gouge for these lines. This is all done with a knife- http://imcclains.com/catalog/woodbl.....iseishoto.html
It's good when you wanna focus one one side of the line since you have to chip out from the other side. But you can still get pretty narrow areas if you're careful!
