First off, appologies to
Cougr as this was a rip, and very intentionally a rip, of his very old piece of
Durrn's muzzle from hir, then his, quaddy days. The original can be found at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/769403/
This came up after I was talking with Durrn a bit about how we've changed over the years. We aren't the dragons we used to be. And I wanted to try and draw hir muzzle for hir. Not having any luck, I went back to what was one of the base images for Durrn's muzzle in my mind. Cougr's old piece. I started sketching off it, and tracing off it. And tweaked and changed things as I went. Softening hir up. Turning that very dominant grin, into the muzzle that I think of on a daily basis. One thing led to another, and this is what turned up. Durrn at least to my eyes, as best as I can get it with the aid of Ken's skill, several years later and with a lot of changes since that dragon I first met.
I don't like tracing or ripping images, I got my start doing it but I offended some people with how much of a photocpoier I used to be. For that matter, I still am a bit of a photocopier. But, well... this piece was important to me while I was doing it. Of and for the most important person in my life.
So... I hope you guys like it. Sorry for the tracing. Just hope people can appreciate the intent of this.
