I was going to the beach on Friday (when I doodled this), but the fog rolled in hard as I headed west, so my sight-seeing evening was kind of ruined.
This is what I would have done that night, had the skies been more forgiving.

The textures in the sky look very calming for a slow roll along the beach. You do make very lovely sunset scenery and your coloring style lends more towards greater strength in fleshing out scenery or landscapes. The plaid design on your shirt is a nice touch with the warm glow (aka the "warm fuzzies" emotion) and coloring scheme.
There might be some improvements on perspective. Namely, the skateboard line art looks a little off kilter and the sidewalk heading towards the mountain does not want to follow the concept of "vanishing point." But then again, you just met the sidewalk, so it might have that rebellious streak in it. ^_^
Now I wonder what you are seeing that has you puzzled...
Nice work Moku!

I spend the most time on sunset pics like this because I love them so much.. so calming to watch, really :)
And "warm fuzzies" is a common emotion of mine, something I often feel while at the beach at this time :P
I do realize the sidewalk lines are quite askew, looking good until the topppp :s Something I actually added at the last minute, but yeah, could have spent more time on it.. :x
But thanks for the feedback bud, glad you enjoyed the watercolor-y scene~!

Oh yeah. I never thought of that.
In that case, your subject is more the sky than it is the character. You would have a lot more fun with making more explicit details in the cloud formations too. Which I think you mentioned somewhere that you loved looking at clouds, so you could develop your skill in that area. ^_^

I had a classmate who was doing a Russian language class so thankfully I knew at least that much. ^_^ It would be fun to read a Dostoyevsky novel in the original language. LOVE that author.
Oh, and the C+ question was just extending that comment you made of tattooing "neanderthal." What better way to top of not knowing anything, by not knowing that you didn't know it existed? XP Fortunately I have had enough of a life to know what program language is.
