I've wanted to change my fursona to a deer for a while now. Mikomi just wasn't really cutting it any more. She's her own character now. So, for the past week or so, I've been playing with the design of this doe, Saoirse (pronounced Sear-sha. It's Irish. They're crazy). She's a Fallow deer, so even though she's grown up, she's spotted and adorable. In my head, I call her Peach because of her coloration. Very fruity. She's just me if I was some kind of freakish deer-mutant.
Note: If you're looking at this reference in a fevered attempt to draw my character by some good grace of your heart, don't worry about her coat pattern. It's just supposed to be a pretty generic Fallow deer. You can pattern it in any way you feel comfortable. Just make sure it's that peachy color.

Her hair was hard. I went through a few different ways to draw that cut. I knew I wanted it all ultra-short and pixie-ish.
Finally just settled on bed head. People can draw it however they want. It doesn't bother me.

That's what I heard in the production re-enactments. I love listening to those.
Too bad that while we were at Disneyland, there were little to NO Bambi products. There was one ugly tank top and some pins. In fact, there's a shirt at Target with Bambi on it that I really wanted. I wonder if it's still there...
