I myself prefer the AK 74 because of its materials it is made from. Since it is all metal and poly carbon. You do not have to worry about getting the wood finish destroyed or the gun getting exposed and ruining the wood.

I must say i cant argue with that but what about the accuracy? Since it has a shorter barrel and a small stock along with an rifle round doesn't that create a fare amount of kickback?

The stock depends on the dragonov and where it was manufactured and when. I also need to practice on smooth lines. That is a pain in the ass when using an laptop without a mouse.

Yep that's what i do. I actually prefer not to have a mouse. I've learned to live without it for so long. Yet i really do need practice. I do draw a lot its just none of it gets up here.

Save money, buy tablet. I hear that it's a big step for a lot of artists. I wouldn't know since I'm just a writer.

You should probably opt for one of the ones that have a built in screen, so it just looks like your writing on paper on a desk or whatever. If you can afford it that is... just be careful of the stylist, I hear those things are easy to break and quite expensive to replace.

Me too i have a trigger finger which drags across the paper as i write and its anoying as fuck

For where you are at, a degree of excellence can be reached by refining the shapes of the stocks, recievers, bolt carriers, etc to being smooth and parrallel with each other. Also look wierd without the front post, but, you could be going for SBR type stuffs, idk, if so thats a cool idea, would be insaneley awesome with a suppressor, cause SBRs with suppressors look better then women.

About the constructive critic, I think one of the most interesting thing in guns (beside shooting I guess) are details and mechanism. Like clockworks, they make all the charm of the object! Thus I think you should draw guns in a bigger scale so you'll have all the room necessary for the details and draw awesome weaponry :)
