Most short novels don't have alot of pictures, they are more of words and clever phrases. I see potental in writting something based on this one sence. If you could feel free to give me ideas based on this tale and I shall try my best to bring it to life.

The back ground is good, no color which is fine. The light in the first box, is a communication spell starting up? The symobl in it in a later box seems new, may want to put a glimpse of the symbol in the first orb, but that is just a suggestion. It looks like he is interacting with the orb, (Dang computer is trying to make me sound like a retard right now.) but where is the orb, did it desolve when he walk through it? some people may just assume he crushed it with his foot... The thing is you may be trying to limit yourself to the boxes. The words can be added later, the boxes of course can be added too. People won't always see the hero's actions, or heros in this case. Pictures like these would be best so that they see the heros face as you see it, and then everytime they hear his name they see the face. They see the blade, and their imagination fills in the rest of the environment. But Back ground is decent cause then they take that into consideration too.
