try these things one a metalic foil tape around the rim of the pot if it is a potted plant as snells and slugs both hate that it leaves a bad

taste in there mouth so to speak number to get a tray and poor a lil bit of beer in to it and place it at the base of your plants also surround

the plant with a small circle of salt at the base like any salt will do it is like poison to them they hate it as it burns like acid not that i know

how acid burns flesh but other objects yes.

don't get me wrong i love snails and slugs of all kinds but again like you not on my plants killing them and eating the leaves.
