meh one thing i didnt like about star trek is they didnt have powerful welll trained ground force. thye had impressive space force ^^

according to star trek online the new gear they have makes them awesome...plus with data and worf on your side.....what else do you need? and have you ever seen janeway pissed of D: scarey as fuck she blow up half her ship over some bugs D: bitch is crazy xD

I wonder why orignal series they never had anything like that, in my opinion you need a good well trained soldier for ground combat. Most of the star trek series didnt have those nor variety of hand held weapons. One reason i like star wars alittle more, but i do admit their ships were more maneverable in space and had better sheilds.

agreed. and they should have had more ground because something always happened on the ground. remember nemesis? and lets not forget the time the Ferangi took over the enterprise d. then there was the time the kazon took over voyager and so on and so forth. i mean there was the one thing of voyager they called the elite force you didn't see it in the series but like once or twice when tovuk was training those crew. they were being trained for elite ops. for ground combat and it worked EXTREMELY WELL its a shame they didn't implement it in the others

The security team on the ships dont seem very well trained unlike some of he other races security teams. I think they should done like our navy, naval personal and makos9marines on boards federation ships. With borg might be problems but from what i seen old style weapons and close quarters seem be their one weakness.

that is true. but always remember the borg have one major weakness you see in first contact....LEAD.....picard sprays into some borg and kills em all no adaption...just pull out a fucking mg42 and start spraying! its not rocket science xD!

Yeah like replicators form stargate projectile weapons seem be one of weaknesses. ^^ And bladed weapons as worf showed in First contact. I also believe boi-weapons key to defeating them, since they rely on their organic parts, liek first contact sugestes, to survive as well as machines use that.

So projectile weapons, Bladed weapons, and boi-weapons best bet. I mean looks at the species that nearly annihalted the borg, thats example of boi-weapons.

lol probally, if i could put my own power/race in star trek be wolf or lizard style species with advanced stuff from star trek but also stuff liek star wars and star gate as well. Despite how much advanced star trek is with ships their alot more stuff in star wars lol
