Also I am very happy to see people take these characters and draw them as they see fit. I get a bit tired of seeing them all in their regular style.

Thanks! And I totally know what you mean... Ninety-nine times out of a hundred I'm MUCH more drawn to a pony character that's drawn in that artist's style rather than that artist trying to emulate the show.
