I think that the center of the eyes are too close together, it gives the appearance of being cross eyed.

ok so possibly move the eyes further outward? I was thinking they might be a little to small/close together. Thanks for the comment!

They look to be in the right /place/ to me, If you look at my FA page at some of the suits that I've made, you'll see what I mean about the iris/pupils being too close to the bridge of the nose. I've tried the 'moving them outward' thing >.> doesn't work so well. Ive found that if you make the eyes oval shaped, you put the circle in the middle, And then put a little bit of material that hangs down over the eye to give it the illusion of having an eye lid, that method works best.

also, another suggestion. Definitely add foam to the back of the head. If you dont, itll give it a funny look when you fur it.

Didn't think of that. I am planning on moving the ears backward on the head a little ways to make the head look more even.

I'm afraid once the fur and everything is put on, that the back of the head would be larger than the front. Or just look lopsided. And I think correcting that with the ears will help. (Also padding on the back of the head like you suggested)

yea the ears look a little too far foward. however I do love how the side view looks. definitely going to reference it :) (i love disecting things and figuring out new methods to do stuff) I also have better tips on eye materials than buckram.

I would love to learn of anything else to use besides buckram. I heard that so many suiters use it, but looking through the actual product has me skeptical.

I cant find any online... You'd have to go to a craft store and look for it. Needlepoint canvas... The plasticky stuff, not the clothe stuff. Its got smaller holes than the canvas youre using for building your head, works great for eyes, and easy to paint on.

ok, I think i remember seeing needle point canvas close to the canvas we bought. Will keep an "eye" out.

Ahh, I see. I will have to try that. I actually just got some buckram to use for the eyes that i'm going to try out and see how it works compared to the whole tear duct vision I have going now. I will try it on those pair! Thanks!

This is really looking great so far!
My only suggestion is to add some foam to the back of the ears! Because if you see a dogs ear is not flat in the back it comes out a bit to support the ear! http://image.shutterstock.com/displ.....pen-560516.jpg Also by adding a little foam it will support the ear of the fursuit more when you apply fur so it doesn't flop over!
But seriously this is looking really great so far and the photography is excellent!

Many thanks on the great ref picture. I was planning on doing just that actually. I still need to move the ears back on the head a little ways before I do any detail foaming on them.
