This is my puppy, Kipsey.

He's a double-dapple dachshund, just over a year old. >w<

He certainly loves his sun-drenched napping places!

They are a bit more unusual... Typically they're standard black or brown, or have the dobie markings. OR they are occasionally brindle. Double-dapples are not seen as often in the breed ^^

Oh wow, looks a lot like my Doxie, Scout. But she's a chocolate and tan dapple longhair. This is one of the prettier double dapples that I've seen. Usually they have white, I think? And crazy eyes. Haha.
I like this doggie, such a cutie. :3

lol I actually like the dapples with a little white in them ^^ But Kipsey is like... chocolate and copper colored ^^ and actually the bottom part of his right eye has some blue in it...

They certainly can be nice looking! Buuut, I'm not really into double dapples just cus breeding specifically for that is irresponsible. But I'd never deny one a home! :3

Oh really? I didn't know i figured it was just one of the more uncommon color variations ^^;; He is a pedigree, but I don't know if they were going for a double dapple or just happened to get one between his parents.

Yeah, breeding two dapples can result in deafness or other more severe health defects. It's a shame. :(
