My god I still can't get over how feature film quality and critical acclaim worthy that last episode was! That finale sure as hell didn't disappoint! The writing was like nothing I've seen on TV or even the silver screen since the mid '90's! Many say the score was like that of a Disney movie, but I'm much more reminded of Dreamworks fare specifically with the villain's song (one of which we've been waiting for and BY GOD was this a payoff) The Cadence Vs. Cadensa score reminded me of the song in The Prince of Egypt when Moses and Ramses where singing during the plague scenes, even some segments of the song had an Egyptian flare! Can you say possible inspiration? We weren't sure we'd ever hear one, let alone one that fits in among the ranks of Be Prepared, Poor Unfortunate Souls, and Hellfire! This finale gets a resounding 10/10. I don't know how they did it, but they stepped up their game on what I was already pretty sure I was able to call the best show on TV today, there's just one problem.... IT'S MY LITTLE PONY! And no matter WHAT you say, if they DON'T WATCH IT THEY WILL NEVER REALIZE WE'RE WATCHING SOMETHING OF THIS CALIBER! they still think it's all lollipops, rainbows, cupcakes, butterflies... and sure while they're in there... SO ARE INTERDIMENSIONAL BODY-SNATCHING BEASTIES THAT FEED ON EMOTIONAL ENERGY AND PLOT TO INSIDIOUSLY OVERTHROW KINGDOMS IN SCANDINAVIAN FOLKLORE!!!!!! *gasp gasp gasp* I need a glass of water

I agree with you the finale was amazingly epic. The music was extremely well done and the villain so damn sweet! I thought I could persuade my bro with this amazing episode but he just disregarded it because it's ponies!! GAAAAH
I kind of wish they'd do villains more often, but I guess if it got too frequent they might end up shelling out crappy baddies. I guess I'm fine with only occasional villains, that way they have time to come up with a truly awesome villain. (I MEAN LOOK AT HER HOLY CRAP)

My ONLY complaint of the Finale was that Luna wasn't in there more often, she had abut 5 seconds of total time. >_>
