A little critter I bought from  Anabel He's the Net Beast, a partially cybernetic canine.

Born at the same lab that my wolf pack short story comes from, he was deemed to be a failed experiment until one of the lab techs got the bright idea of modifying him to help run the place. He's kept isolated from the other experiments and acts as the central hub through which all the info gets processed. He has a port at the end of his tail that allows him to connect to computers throughout the lab and the processor for his wings helps convert electricity into energy.

Net is smart enough to learn human language as well as the animal one. The irony is that nobody at the lab realizes their biggest success is the one they dismissed. Coldly logical, at first, he didn't care less about the other experiments in the lab. They were just data to be filed away. But the computer that made up his brain was a learning computer. He began to re-analyze all the data that had been stored about the experiments. The Net Beast came to a new conclusion: The experiments were wrong. And he was going to help stop them.

Making contact with Patchface through various computers, the two began to plot how to both escape the lab and take it down in the process....
