I am posting this picture because of the few modern assassins voicing their worry that they were alone in their era. No assassin is alone, the Masters are always watching.
Morin was born in Altair's time; he trained under, worked with, and was close friends with the Master Assassin. After the conflict with Al Mualim, the Apple reacted to the wolf, granting him extraordinary abilities and the gift of agelessness; not immortality. The wolf was charged to stand and fight until the world was safe once more.
Centuries later, wolf and wolfess meet in Venenzia, the wolfess still young and helpless. From that moment on, the wolf continued to protect the wolfess, and she made her way to Roma. They meet again, this time, Anya as an apprentice of the Brotherhood. Another decade passes, when finally, after Anya has been the Madam for eight years, neither can hold back what they have to say, realizing that their paths were meant to come together, and that they were meant to love.
In their first mating, Morin passed part of his soul to the wolfess, as well as part of the Apple's power, as it had been waiting for her to find her way to the wolf's side. She too was blessed with agelessness, but only if she stood and fought.
And so they have stood and fought, side by side throughout the centuries. Now in the year 2012, the fight is more dangerous and seemingly more impossible everyday. Still, the wolf and wolfess stand on the frontlines, clearing the way for Desmond and keeping him safe from afar as the Brotherhood struggles to rise above the Templars once and for all.
