Just finished the PS2 game God of War last night, so it reminds me of the hounds in that. Loved how they'd start off as puppies, then grow all big and intimidating into adults, then sprout three heads.
The character was inspired by the misleading movie case cover for the movie called cerberus.
(misleading cause the cover showed a wolf like creature, but was really just a cg'ed 3 headed dog.)
