Killing two birds with one stone, here is some gift art for Lorena as well as some Hunger Games fanart. A trilogy of books by Suzanne Collins, they are very much worth reading! One of the few books that I made it a point to read before the movie, and could hardly wait to keep reading. :)
"And so it was decreed that each year, the twelve districts of Panem, would offer up in tribute one young man and woman, between the ages of 12 and 18, to be trained in the art of survival, and to be prepared, to fight to the death."
In the 75th annual Hunger Games, Topaz and Lorena have forged a temporary alliance, as the tributes from Districts 11 and 12 are surrounded by the career tributes. At some point they may be forced to kill each other, but for now, they are each other's only chance for survival.

Love this art concept (saw the movie but haven't read the books)
I would hide the whole time. It was a good movie concept but I don't think there's really much incentive to fight and risk your own life in a battle royale. Perhaps if you got weapons or food for kills that'd make it more believable.

True there was a good initial incentive and they forced tributes to stay close, but being close doesn't mean you try and kill someone. Throughout most of it Peeta is with others who don't kill him.
I think more incentives to play aggressive would have been good. Like say rewards for your district for kills even if you die, or additional supplies. I know there was the ultimate incentive of fame and money, but I just don't see most tributes being aggressive as they were with the setup they had. And by Hollywood movie rules I guess Katniss has to be more 'good' than those she kills, but I think the darker theme of 'even good people can kill, if incentivized' should have been explored more. The movie kind of portrays the other tributes than Rue as evil or deserving to die, which kind of took away from it all to me. What I really liked was the concept of using the Games to control all the districts, the whole sponsor (who contradictorally seem to bet on the games and also heavily influence them) angle just seemed like some kind of half baked anti-rich people thing. But I digress, it was a great concept, just flawed in a few spots...
