So
amarimasi (brave soul that she is ^_^) decided to upload some of her old art from when she first started drawing. She was finding it hard to look at her old art, but her old art isn't nearly as hard to look at as some of my old art. :)
So here it is, from age 10 when I first seriously took up drawing furry, till when I was 18. If you want to see some of the better stuff from 18 to present, I have a few sketches scattered throughout my gallery and scraps, and I'll be adding more from time to time.
Actually, my later stuff isn't as bad as I thought it was - there are a few gems, and I uploaded them here. Though the downside is that means my character drawing skills haven't improved as much as I would have liked over the past 20 years. ⌐_⌐;
She still draws head and shoulders above me when I was her age though. :3
Also included is colorful commentary by me, so even if you don't like the art maybe you'll find my MST3K'ing of my stuff amusing. ^_^

First, thanks for faving my old art! ^_^;;
Yeah, that's been one of my favorites over the years. I had forgotten about it till I dug through my pile that contained the really old stuff.
I actually have an inked version (real ink, not computer pixels ;) ) on tracing paper, but I kind of liked the sketch better. Same old story - lines are more dynamic in the sketch.

Jeez, you drew better at ages 10-13 than I did. XD And I barely drew at all. >.> You got an early start, that's for sure. X3
I agree with the Ferret, the hanging mouse one is adorable. :3 By the way, I think you should draw traditionally more often. I like your pencil sketching. ^_^
The only real problem I see with most of those drawings is that you likely rushed in drawing them instead of taking it slowly. X3
By the way, thumbs up for following the trend! =D

Thanks!!! =D
You can thank "Dumbo" for my early drawing passion. :) Before age 10 all I drew was stick type figure people. Y'know - trapezoidal torso with stick arms and legs, circle-type happy face heads. XD
I agree, which is why many kudos again for helping me with the pencil insights. :3
Yeah, I didn't have the patience I do now when I do some of my better pics. (And in fact even now I lose patience sometimes. X3 )
Now, we need to get a few more really good artists to do the same! Then everyone will see we all have to start from somewhere, even if it's not as pretty as our current stuff. :)
