Image 2 of 2 of my version of The Great Knife, Pyramid Head's decidedly signature weapon in Silent Hill 2.

My remake is designed more like a chef's knife-- that is, the grip is far closer towards the spine of the blade, whereas the orginal Great Knife had a grip almost in line with the edge.

Here is a top-down view of the knife with little details I'd like to show off.

First, in the lower left, is a detail of the guard area, where I used two 1/8" steel plates to thicken the grip and reinforce the tang, god forbid I actually need to hit something with it.

The other two views in the top-right show a teensy bit of the blood I poured on this thing. This thing has opened my skin a lot in being made, too.

For anyone that wants to know, yes, I did do some forging on it to get it to shape.

Once again, 4'6" overall, 30 lbs., steel, sweat, blood.
