nice to see crossovers like this. it might just be because i'm a multifur but it seems like the multi arm alien is getting more and more popular. John Carter and Avatar both had many creatures with extra limbs.

It was a very good movie... It captured the feel of the books very well. I have read them when I was a kid, and loved them. They were pretty much the precursors to stuff like Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers.

Sure, they changed the story- merged it from at least 3 books - but I quite liked it. Especially how they have written Tarkas and his people. As for the Red Martians, yeah... my guess is that they could not hire enough american indians for the role? Not sure... Sadly, the movie tanked big time, so a sequel - or toys - are unlikely.

I can see how the real Martian Queen would not be amused, though. Best not tell her about J'onn J'onnz and the DC comics...
