They're alright but I like OEM styling. I also don't like non-functional scoops/wings/fins what have you. Just tacky.

Some kits are good, some improve the aerodynamics of a car or truck by patching the wind resisting flaws in its shape, others just make it look like a ricer.

I agree with Juno, they must have some sort of functional use, and it's alright as long as you don't go too far and make yourself look like a "ricer"... Too much of a good thing can be ban. Hahah

I've seen some that just make me wonder what the hell the designers were even thinking. There's one guy in our club that catches a ton of flak because he added all kinds of "ricer" stuff to his V6 and he wins a lot of popular vote stuff for it. That pisses people off and they call his car trash for it.

Personally I don't get into body mods much unless they serve some kind of function or flesh out the car in a way that compliments the original bodywork. That's why I swapped to a Cobra bumper on the Mach 1, I thought it made the car look meaner, by squaring the nose up. I added Roush skirts in the back to cover the exhaust notches in the bumper when I yanked the pipes out and swapped to turn downs. Otherwise I'm more of a fan of mods that actually make the car work better, not just dress it up.

Functional and tasteful is usually nice. Some of the over-the-top stuff can be pretty ugly. The Red 'Stang is closer to the second statement, at least to me.
