Rated General for lack of mature content
The latest in the same series of silly characters started with Creampuff and the Dough Girls. Here we have the hero Agrimotor, a worksuit inventor in sort of the same vein as smegog's Vulkan character, and his armor war rival Iron Locust.
For some reason I can't quite explain I'm not exactly a hundred percent pleased with this biosheet. A revision may or may not be in this duo's future.
Agrimotor/Iron Locust
Name: Samuel Clearabell/Rebecca Goldmeadow
Gender: Male/Female
Age: 26/24
Species: Whitetailed Deer/White Rabbit
Nationality: American
PoB: American Dixieland/American Midwest
Eyes: Blue/Green
Hair: Black/Platinum Blond
Weight: 176 lbs/ 122 lbs
Height: 5’8”/5’3”
Orientation: Heterosexual
Occupation: Inventor and Hero/Villain
Martial Status: Single
Appearance: A buff, athletic buck just shy of looking like a character in a southern romance novel. Hair is curly and worn short, often a bit messy. Typical fur pattern for species, velvety brown fur from head to toe with a splotch of snow-white fur running from the tip of the chin down to the inner thigh/crotch.
A slender, well-curved rabbit doe with a pair of C-cup breasts, shoulder-length hair, and soft green eyes behind a pair of glasses. Body is toned and athletic but not particularly muscular. Fur pattern is an uninterrupted snow-white coat running from the tips of her ears down to her toes.
Personality/Biography: Southern gentleman with an instinctive scientific curiosity and a generous spirit. Believes the suit should be used to help small family farms compete with the big agri-businesses. Has a closeted weakness for “corn fed beauties” and suffers from guilt for Iron Locust’s on-going rampage. A gentle spirit who has trouble raising even his voice in anger.
Midwestern mechanical genius with a more arrogant personality, believed the suit should have been sold to whoever would give the most reward and renown. Has romantic feelings for Sam and feels scorned by his attentions elsewhere. An unspoken incident in her past has given her a strong phobia of blood.
Born to surprisingly humble origins as the son of a pair of poor farmers, Samuel Clearabell grew up no stranger to hard work and the family’s never ending struggle with the large agricultural businesses that threatened to buy up their land and put them out of business. It was perhaps no surprise then that as the buck grew up he would develop an interest in agronomy and farm machinery.
Getting into college on a combination of needs-based scholarships and work-study programs, he attended St. Louis University and began what would turn into a project spanning half a decade. Intrigued by the potential demonstrated by powersuits used by figures such as the original Rivetgal and Crimson Hammer, he began working on designs for a new type of worksuit. Along the way, he encountered what he thought was a kindred spirit…
Rebecca Goldmeadow was one of those geniuses that revealed in their brilliance. Successfully building a working motor at the age of twelve without any prior instruction, her intelligence all but completely ensured she would go very far indeed. Unfortunately, the culture of public education was less then kind to people like her. In addition to lacking a challenge, conflicts with her peers led to more then one physical altercation.
Now securely in college, the rabbit doe was coasting her way into a mechanical engineering degree while keeping an eye out for a project that would actually challenge her. And then she met a young deer buck with a cute Southern accent…
Working on the suit while helping each other with the sciences of agriculture and mechanical design, the project was well underway. Early prototypes of the component parts were promising and soon the suit could start coming together. Unfortunately, a storm of the more emotional variety was brewing. As they continued working on, Rebecca found herself more and more attracted to Sam, loving the time they spent together. The buck unfortunately had his own desires, ones that did not necessarily involve the bunny. An accidental discovery of some of his desktop backgrounds shattered her perceptions and would unfortunately color their argument over the eventual fate of the suit in the worst possible way.
As the first prototype was completed, the partnership began to break down. Rebecca wanted to demonstrate their invention for a panel of major agricultural concerns; Sam wanted to find a way to take it directly to the people who “fed the world.” Everything spiraled out of control after that. Becky revealed she knew his secret obsession and accused him of having more petty motivations for his benign goal. Sam held up his hands and tried to explain but before he could open his mouth, her fist met his face and he was knocked out cold. When he came back to, the suit was gone and Rebecca left him a note describing in terrifying detail how she planned to get the wealth and fame she craved, ending simply with “and I shall descend upon your precious little farms like an iron locust, leaving only the same broken hearts you left me with.”
At first he couldn’t believe it but as news reports of a new supervillain terrorizing the farms of Dixieland emerged over the following weeks, Sam knew what had to be done. Using the parts he had left and working fervently, he built an improved version of the suit and set out to try and make right. Soon, stories emerged of another armored super following in the wake of Iron Locust, doing his best to mend the damage but never quite catching up…
Powers: None, see armor description below.
Skills: Equally proficient in matters of mechanical engineering and agronomy, both Sam and Rebecca are equally adept at controlling and maintaining their armor prototypes as well as using the suit’s systems to maximum effect in either creation or destruction.
Combatively, both are horrible at techniques not involving their power armor but Rebecca is slightly better at basic brawling then Samuel having more experience using her fists in anger then he had.
Domestically, neither excels at needlework but Sam is unsurprisingly proficient in Southern style cooking while Rebecca is a bit of a “neat freak.”
The armor: A bulky, seven-foot-tall humanoid worksuit designed for labor, the suit trades dedicated offensive weaponry for devices intended for farm work. Differences in their intent have caused Sam and Rebecca to modify and upgrade their suits differently, making the difference between them something much more substantial then different helmets and paint jobs.
Both suits possess light armor plating (more to protect against work-related mishaps then bullets,) respirator (originally just to filter dust, has been upgraded to sort out most common gases,) and a flood lamp built just above the visor. Servomotors built into both suits allow occupants to displace up to three tons and run at up to sixty miles per hour.
Agrimotor: Armor is colored a dark forest green with slight yellow accents, construction is bulkier then the Locust design to hold additional devices. Cannot fly at all but carries a much broader variety of tools then his counterpart.
Tilling- Tool extrusions from the right and left wrists extend and link together to mechanically form a four-foot wide tiller roughly a foot high and sitting two feet ahead of the suit. Coupled with the armor’s super-speed, can easily till an entire acre in a matter of minutes.
Seeding- Built as a small extension to the hopper system used in harvesting, a small vacuum-sealed container holds a variety of seeds coated in a special speed grow formula. When needed, seeds are loaded into pneumatic guns built into the gauntlets for rapid planting.
Irrigation: A spray cannon built into the right shoulder can be hooked up to a fluid tank on the back-mounted hopper or to an external source to spray a variety of fluids from water to liquid fertilizer.
Harvesting- Each forearm contains a collapsible thresher claw capable of handling a variety of grains. Once fully assembled over the gloves, the claws hook up to a hose leading to a back-mounted hopper. Hosing system can be adjusted to carry anything from harvested wheat up to ears of corn.
Iron Locust: Painted black with green accents, armor is slightly sleeker while helmet resembles the head of a grasshopper. Long metal protrusions running from the back of the helmet provide protection for her long ears. Seeding, tilling, and irrigation gadgets have been stripped to decrease weight while the hopper system for the harvester subsystem has been removed to make space for a jet-assisted glide pack, allowing her to fly along on metallic wings.
Weaknesses: Mortal, tech-dependent, non-violent, “Sworn enemies once friends.”
