Todd dressed as Leiji Matsumoto's famous space pirate, Captain Herlock (or Harlock depending on which version you go with). After Giant Robo, I switched to the soundtrack for Captain Herlock: Endless Odyssey Outside Legend and ended up sketching this for the costume series I've been doing on and off the past several months. It's a wonder I didn't do this right after the Robotech one.
