99% of the people in my life, possibly even 100%, will have no idea who these wolves are or what this pic means. And we'll keep it that way.
This was as much a desire to just draw some wolves as it was personal venting, so just look at it like that
Generally, I prefer natural coloured wolves, even if they may have slightly unnatural markings, but there are reasons these guys are coloured as they are. Also, Memphis, my fursona in the distance, is blue (which is hardly a natural colour) so I didn't think it looked out of place to have the other wolfies more vibrant in colour.
Reference used for Memphis and the body of the wolf fetching the stick (both from google), the others from my own head, probably why they look so shitty.
All wolfies mine. Please don't copy their designs (even if they are boring and basic)

well, let's see...
nice char design so far. there is no real shitty shapes there; they are cartoons, so there. Even though they have stops in their noseridges it's by far not as hefty as with Balto and other "disney" doggies.
front left looks angsty like he lhas left his guard post and fears to be beaten before he has a chance to explain. interesting furmark across his back. like tiny bat wings. spirit wings perchance?
front middle appears to be the mockingwolf of the pack. he has the looks and the expressions of one, as if he is about to crack a wise remark or something.
right is one of the most curious feral wolves I ever seen. is that really a goatee? scritching his chin must be like scritching his ears, soft and fluffy. he looks serious and concerned, clearly superior above the two others.
and in the back the wise, quiet wolf who knows it all.
but won't tell you, dammit!

You're right in that the left one is an omega type. He is bringing something to his alpha (the stern looking wolf on the right). The bat wings are because the person he is based on has a tattoo on his back with wing type thingies on it.
The middle one is a girl, but essentially she is the one just sitting back enjoying the antics, because everything is good for her.
The one in the background is me. I can't give much more away than that without really putting my foot in it with the people these are based on :P
