Well when I went with my fiancee to meet his parents and get their approval on our engagement along with the rest of the family, we went to this adult toy store that is actually a national chain... (OMG at least one exists!). They gave us a 20% discount as a happy engagement gift... which my nympho of a fiancee took advantage of and got $300 worth of stuff. Other than that one of our friends took both of us out to dinner to ruby tuesday's on him for a celabratory dinner. I don't expect any other engagement gifts from anyone. Hopefully we will get some good wedding gifts once we get to DC or NY to have our wedding though.
