You showed me I had a place to stay.

I carried you along.

Do you remember when the pressure was to great, and all I could do was shake?
You gave me your hand and helped me back up.

Do you remember when your tears flowed without end?
I dried them up and made you smile.

Do you remember when my heart was stained from betrayal and mistrust?
You held it and cleaned it up.

Do you remember when your heart laid broken in pieces?
I picked them up and mended it.

Do you remember when I was lost in the dark?
You lead me out with your light.

Do you remember when your skies faded to grey?
I brought the warmth and color back.

Do you remember when we thought no one could care, and were both lost in despair?
We were there, holding on to one another, pushing forward and making it through, because we had each other, and we know we always will.
