Keeping in touch with being a fan of the background characters, I always wondered what Ian St. John of the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comics though of his son Geoffrey St. John, especially in light of recent events.
As this story from the comic goes, Ian was assigned to escort the Queen of Acorn Kingdom along with her son Prince Elias, Colonel Sommersby, and another soldier to safety during a war with the Overlanders. Unfortunately, an Overlander patrol discovered them and shot their craft down. As far as I know, Geoffrey either never knew his mother or she died some time ago. Without Ian, Geoffrey would be alone. In the final moments of his life, he thinks of his boy. He'll steer the ship as best he can to ensure the survival of the passengers knowing he probably won't survive. He was the best father any man could be in a time of war. He was loved and it's this love that brings him peace, even in the face of death.
I've seen Viral JP's work before and I knew he did top notch work, but I had no idea it would look this great. I was completely blown away when I saw this.
