I've always wondered since discovering this character, What does she do with people who aren't evil?
People who try to be good parents, or their friends? People who have little or no Penance to pay?
Does she stay with the act of being a bear cub around them? What does she do with little boy cubs her apparent age?
Remember, the Creeps are the Exception, not the rule.

She likely ignores them, or, in some cases, observes their behavior. She actually spends quite a bit of time (after arriving to her new reality in that body) studying the behavior of others in order to "fit in" and figure out how things work in this new world she's stuck in.
She's stuck in that form, so she will often play the part of a kid, though she tends to fool with observer's minds a bit, giving them memories that never actually occurred (such as, Penance in the park with her parents), or even altering their memories of what she looked like.
Since her body has all the memories of the original girl, sometimes Penance will "take a back seat" and let the form have fun, just as a kid would.

this may get interesting later on. the problem with cubs is they don't stay cubs forever. when the little bear hits her teens, what's penance going to do? teenage females attract suitors. it's not perverse at that age, it's nature. I fear some young bear is in for terror when he thought he'd have a date with a comely young lady bear.

Knowing the path she's got herself on, she'll probably be doing the same thing she's doing now: going from place to place, dealing with the "problematic individuals" she tends to encounter.
That body's not gonna age a day, and she's got a loooooooong life ahead of her (she's only a few thousand years old; that's like "early twenties" in demon years, I reckon).

And is adding Penance to it is Only Gonna make it that much more Frightful, Scary and Downright Merciless to all that come near her in a Very Bad Way! -XD-

What medium did you use for this? Was this done with a digital program or traditional? (at least Penance/the main background) it has a really nice softness to it in the lines and all. Very reminiscent of the old books! You really hit the nail on the head with this. I absolutely love the little details you include that most artists overlook. Theme, coloring, backgrounds, shading... you always put so much into your art. Great work!
