I kind of just wanted to draw these two in the same scene. It was interesting to draw Horus with another pony where you could see their whole bodies. It really helped me get work out how I want his body to be like.

So Horus is just giving Shining Armor a hard time.

[EDIT] I realize now I never mentioned how much I enjoy Shining Armor. I'm so happy we got a Canon Captain of the Royal Canterlot Guard!! I know it makes me re-figure out where Horus' position it, but I am far too pleased to be discouraged. I put the shows canon before my own.

In the sketch I'd given him a speech bubble saying 'What did you say you're relation to Ms. Sparkle was?'
But really it could be any hardflank thing you can come up with.

The background is from the MLP website, from one of the games. But trust me, I didn't plan on going very far with this and it was either this, a black background or I'd simply try to do one and then scrap the whole thing entirely because I hate my background work.
