After talking to Twilight, Grant decide to stargaze. That is when Princess Luna lands next to him and asked him who he is. After a bit of talking, a friendship formed between Grant and Luna. But then, something impossible happens. Out of nowhere, Nightmare Moon appears and says she is there to take Grant away. Luckly, Raindow Dash flys down out of the sky and bucks Nightmare Moon in the face, cracking it like it was a clay pot. The crack revealed that Nightmare Moon was a fake and is instead a creature called a Darkling. Too scared to move, Luna watches in horror as the Fake Nightmare Moon gets closer. But by showing loyalty to her new friend Grant, Luna has given him his hamory magic, the Loyal lighting bolt, which he used to destroy the Darkling's Nightmare Moon disguise shell, making the darkling unable to fight and runs away in fear.
