Also known as Nicola Reese Arcada, Nikki is the princess of the kingdom of Corona, with her father being the czar. She is an adventurous girl, but is far less of a rebel than one might expect. In fact, her travels are encouraged by the czar. It's during one of these adventures to the wooded area to the west of the castle-town that she discovers Crane. She is initially scared of him for his abilities to evoke Avatars, but soon finds herself becoming a friend to him. Her mother has a connection to a mysterious terrorist cell known as the Steeltrap Movement, which formed from some of the exiled warriors of a country that Corona conquered in the past.

Nikki uses a rapier as her primary form of attack, and backs it up with powerful elemental offensive magic. She is also capable of a few kinds of weapon enchantments to aid herself and allies in combat. She isn't very strong, but can hold her own if forced to resort to melee combat.
