I had the sister model, the Sable: 1994 (lease), 1996 (lease), 1997 (Lot leftover w/24 miles, totaled by a Montero that ran a red light in the rain, no injuries; 2000 to replace the '97 until 2009. None of these care were uncomfortable for me and I'm a big guy. My present Fusion cold have been 2 inches wider but that has been solved with the 2013, http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7787460/ and the 2013 MKZ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7920701/ :)
