So sorry this took so long to post guys. I literally had her finished a few days after I posted the doll finished, but I had a LOT of trouble figuring out how to affix the clothes to the doll, make them removable, not have anything that would wear out easily like tabs, and wouldn't require me adhering anything to the base doll (and covering up all my hard work!).
Oh MY is that a tall order! Especially since the best idea- using magnets- makes the clothes stand out WAYY to far from the body when adhering them to the back of the clothes and using them to stick to each other through the body. So for now I've gone with these super strong tiny magnets I have lying around from my husband's former place of employment. The plans are to put magnet tape (yes, actually tape that's a weak magnet!) in the middle of the doll before I glue it, thus making it strong enough to use on the backs of the clothes. But this is a theory, and I can't put it into practice until I make another one.
So that said! Totally Kitten's first outfit done! I had to take a photo as I wasn't sure how the strong magnets might effect the scan quality and the scanner itself.
Hindsight being 20/20 and all, I'm totally going to include fold/contour lines like I did on her body, as the back of the dress looks a bit weird, and this would doesn't really look like she's WEARING it necessarily as much as I'd like.
That said, I like how its going so far. (Not like I haven't included enough gripes right? XD) But I really do like how the paper doll is coming so far, and I look forward to the next outfit- probably her casual t-shirt and jeans. May or may not make another pair of shoes, as I totally dig these, but I may have to in order to demonstrate another example of shoes.
Please do leave me a comment telling me what you think. I need feedback for this to improve any problems it may have.
Oh! And totally tried the cutest littlest clothes pins fasteners, and even THEY were too big on her, particularly on the shoes. :/ Was so sad because they were so damn cute on the shoulders of the dress.

Yeah, I usually have little things put away or covered up (for example this whole paper doll and accessories are in one of my sketch books for safe keeping), but somehow I dropped the back of the shoes and the clutch purse without realizing it and didn't know they were missing until I found the shoes on the floor this morning. XD
I'll find it eventually- thank goodness I got the photos BEFORE I lost it.

Lol. XD Well the problem is we don't allow them on furniture during the day (the rule of them is that if we don't sit/lay on it, neither can they), but they obviously get to go where they want at night. That's when things disappear- like I said I've gotten much more careful, and haven't lost anything in a long while. Kinda hard to take good care of it when you didn't even know you lost it to begin with. XD
We're still confused about out cat Dusty's penchant to take her brush off the table (one of those metal brushes with the needley teeth) and eat it or try to anyway. We have NO idea why this a good idea to her. XD

LOL, and everything else I've spewed out before was crap. ;P
Thank you! >^.^< I just love being creative with the clothes, the hardest part was putting something together with what papers I have left. <3 I'm really happy with how this is turning out and I plan to do another outfit soon.
Can't wait to start another one already so I can apply what I learned this time!

*giggles* I knew what you meant, and the huge compliment it is! >^.^< TOTALLY feeling fantastic and positive and creative and driven... I think it's showing in my art.
This motivational (for lack of a better term) is working wonders. >^.^<
Now back to Pinterest and dreaming up my new home office.

Very classy! The green goes nicely with the body colour.
You used to be able to get Post-It glue sticks that would turn any paper into a sticky note. I haven't seen those in a while, though. Pity, it would solve your problem handily. Magtape sounds like an elegant solution though, if it's not too thick itself.

Yep they still have that, but just like the backs of sticky notes, the stuff on the body would get all gunky with pet hair and various objects of dirt. XD
Great idea for the short term, but not the long term, which was the same reason why I decided not to do tabs. I want these to be keepsakes of sorts.
