This is right when Emerald jumps out of the bush and they see each other for the first time. I'd be afraid too if a big scary Scyther popped out of nowhere in front of me!

I'm glad someone else thinks it looks scared! I'm still practicing with drawing expressions and I had to redraw his face over and over again because at times he would even look happy!
Well it's also hard to tell what he feels when most of his face is covered by that skull!

it really is! when i drew cubone in the past #1 #2 i just relied on the parts of the eye that you could see under his skull. he's still got a full head and eye under there, so it's enough to work with to accomplish expressions, as long as they're really exaggerated!

Like it? I LOVE it! It really means a lot to get a picture drawn of a scene from a story. There's a huge difference in just reading a story and liking it and reading a story and wanting to draw fanfic of it. Thanks so much for it man =)
