Yes and no. The phoenix imprint on my back is the source of most of my phoenix traits. I'm a wolf phoenix hybrid (wolfenix I like to say) and the phoenix in my fur provides me with wings, regeneration, an awesome thing for ladies to look at while they use my back as a pillow, etc.
