It was my birthday on friday and redrussell wished me a 'Happy Hatching Day'.

This is oddly accurate, as we spaniels do indeed come from large spotty eggs such as this one.

The Spaniel Guild's PR department has had a nightmare of a job over the last 20 years or so suppressing misinformation about us needing to gestate inside a living human host. This is simply not true.

It all sprang from a very poor decision made a long time ago, where Ridley Scott was employed to make a public information film about us, and we have been fighting the backlash ever since. The cretin who made this decision has been mopping floors and making the tea ever since.
