Saisha has been around a long ass time. Since before 2007 actually, that was just the earliest peice of art I could find on my computer.

A little backstory if there's actually anyone interested.

When I was very young, I had an older sister named Sasha. She went away to college when I was 5 or so, so I created an imaginary friend named Sasha to replace her.

Years later, in the 7th grade, I discovered the internet and also the X-men, along with several other superhero cartoons. I wanted my own character. So I brought back Sasha as an angel with some bogus, mary-sue powers and altered her name to Saisha because it was a little creepy for her to have the exact name as my sister.

Forward to Freshman year of high school, when I joined Gaia online. I outfitted my avatar with red wolf items and a pair of bird wings. Then I found a furry roleplay where people were being turned into animals. I never joined, but I repurposed Saisha again in inspiration, turning her into a red dog with angel wings.

She became half dragon a year later when I started writing a story in which all the characters were dragons attending a dragon school (hey, I never said it was a GOOD story). It's there Saisha gained the backstory of being a genetic experiment, since in my mind-world hybrids are impossible.

Her species set, I went on my way until senior year of high school when I found the TV show Knight Rider, and through it the world of cars and rockabilly. I got super into the fifties, and classic rock, and old TV shows. I started greasing my hair and wearing a leather jacket. So Saisha once again had to change to match me.

So now we have the way she looks now, and I don't have any plans to change her. We'll see.
