And this is what powers the boat. Its a 1978 40 HP mercury outboard. It does not, sadly have tilt and trim but has full console controls otherwise (throttle, pneumatic rackon-pinon steering and electric-key based ignition) Considering the boat is heavier then a comperable Aluminum boat, a 40hp engine is actually a little underpowered for her. But its a fishing boat- I'm not planning on hauling tubers or racing bass boats.
