Second picture, giving a bit of insight into the artistic process.
If I can have an already done portrait, it makes things a hell of a lot easier. I sketch the shape onto paper, refining it until I feel like I got it just right. Each sketch only takes me a few minutes, nothing big.
Using the base color for the emblem, I press a flattened circle of clay against the darkened lines, and actually lift the figure from the paper, giving me a stencil to work with on the clay itself. X-acto knife cuts later, and you have that. Some of the clay is interesting to work with, as the color rubs off. (You can tell on the paper that I smushed over just the smaller part of the ear.)
After that, it's touchup work, fixing it for wear, whether it be a pin backing or a hole for a necklace, and I bake it.
(Just in case anyone's wondering, I marked up the botched sketch. Those spikes are wonky, the horn was too big, and the ears were too small. x3)

I see you draw your d's as I do. :3
'bout the only similarity in our handwriting, my n's look like weird v's. x3
Other than that, this is a nicely-made sculpture. I don't know if you can or not, but it may have looked better if you had cut the shape of the ear into the purple and laid the turquoise to be flush with it, or even if it was lower, inside the ear.
