So, this is what I do when I go over to
blarmajin's basement. :3
Judy is the spunky, punky wolf/husky cross character of mine. She's going to have interchangeable mohawks (one red, one turquoise) which I've already been working on.
I hope to finish this partial by this month's
.
This is obviously unfinished. I'm going to add a set of four teeth on the bottom jaw, I'm still working on the ears, and clipper-ing the face to be more even. Also, there are glue bits everywhere that are going to get cut off. And the smiley part of the mouth has to be worked still.
I've got it set up as a moving jaw, but I'm going to further improve on the way it opens and closes.
I'm really enjoying the process, and Blar's been a great help. E'rrybuddy go check out
to see her other fursuit construction work! Even though this isn't her work directly, she's been helping me along (like using the power tool that drilled the holes in the plastic for the eyes) and instructing me on how to build this lovely piece, so I figure she deserves a bunch of credit too.
So yup. This is my first ever fursuit head, but I'd like to think it's coming out pretty damn well so far, especially for being my first one. ^_^
I'll scrap this sometime later.

UGH I DIDNT SEE THAT GREY BIT UGHRGGFFGFFFFFFUU--
I can't really raise it anymore. I should've made the eye on that side go a little down further to make it even. Pfffhch.
Also, I really don't mind how the eyes are right now. It's a toony suit, anyway. And the vision IS excellent and I wouldn't want to make a bigger blind spot in front of my face. >w<
But yeah I'm pretty happy with it. ^_^
And Blar uses that Apoxie Sculpt stuff a lot. What's the advantage of that over any other clay or modeling medium?

|3 is okay. Sorry to bust your happy buzz. I'm currently cussing up a storm 'cause the epoxy sculpt got on the teeth and apparently the teeth had tiny-ass holes which are now full of unremoveable black resin >|
Thus far, it's a 2-part epoxy clay and THE softest, most pliable stuff I've ever used, hands down. I've tried the UK's "milliput" recommended by Matrices, and it SUCKS. (That's what was all that crackly shit on Versin's eyes.) I also tried some mighty-putty epoxy clay shit and that didn't work either. X) Resin clay is the hardest ever when it dries- clays/modelling medium just breaks if it gets dropped/gets old/etc.
:B I lost my e-6000, waah. Was gonna install the tongue.
X3 yay for excellent vision! I've yet to do that on mine.
