It's this weird quilting stuff-- I don't know what it's really called but it's like stiff quilt batting sandwiched between thin fabric. You can also use foamies, but you might want to add a support wire even on smaller ears because they're not very good at keeping their shape in the long run (Meekor here has wire support as well because they're so enormous).
