The picture on the left reminds me of Death Note. I can't figure out why.

I guess that's just how it is for a huge otaku like me.

I'm wondering if there's a demand for a program that lets you do real-time shading while drawing the source image side-by-side with the window with the shaded copy. I think you can do this with PS but haven't used it in years... Quit drawing for 2 years as well, since I gave away my flatbed scanner and don't have a Wacom. :( Doesn't help that my laptop is horribly slow and not exactly the best screen for drawing - stupid antiglare coatings, heh.

Got a scanner now and hopefully I can get back into the habit of doing artwork. I'm more into abstract stuff and the mathematics/algorythms/steps behind the art than the more intuitive part. One of those weird left-right balanced people. ;)
