The art went through a number of phases. I drew the basic figure, then it was inked by Paul Young (a BC comics fan I knew). I believe he added the Japanese border decoration. I asked him if he could find a translater so that we could add "Saara Mar, Lady of Silver and Saphire" in the box -- somewhere he did find oen. The rest of the Hiragana is my name and (perhaps) Paul's. Last of all, I coloured the b/w.

The bird-like emblem on Saara's tunic is her personal one, that appears on her vehicles as well.
