Such is the dilemma of Rasputin and Satire. How do you hate someone you are bound to, who you are destined to love? Rasputin doesn't know it, but Satire's cruelty is not pointless. It is simply his nature, and the way he reacts to Rasputin's dismissal and reluctance to accept their bond. However, Rasputin is also not "ready" to understand this, and so Satire must sit back and watch, and wait, until he can finally open his master's eyes to what he truly is, not what he wishes he could be.
