Another Christmas piece, with a snoopy House Gamin inspecting the toys under the Christmas tree... probably wondering what they are, mainly, but impressed enough that she's not giving any thought to how to break anything.

That's one of the old Strombecker 1/32 scale slot cars, by the way. Later on they used a much cheaper plastic chasis, and one casualty of the switch was that the gears would no longer mesh smoothly because the frames were usually distorted. The Lola T-70 body shell is similar to one I mounted on one of my own Strombeckers.
I'm slowly getting to the end of the last book of prints... and I find I'm sold out of a small number. Those were the good old days, when someone could flip through one of my zip binders, pick out an assortment of art (prints or sketches) and pay my rent for a month. It wasn't just the sale, either... the U.S. dollar was worth $1.40 Canadian... instead of 98 cents.
In a fan-fic I haven't written yet, Casper is transported into the Willow Run era of some earth's future, and succeeds in reformatting part of his brain to understand and translate the House Gamins' language. He thus becomes an interpreter between them and humans. Good luck to him : reaching an understanding bet the 2 species will be another challange !
Something along those lines occurred to me ! The United Nations rep posts a detailed question to the gamins and their only answer is "HUH ?" or "Where food ?". Casper feels he's wasted time & energy on this. In fact, the Traveler dropped him there just to get him out of his way ! The Traveler is not a hero ,more a heroic villain !
